The Kimosetter 340i is a desktop filmsetter using a completely dry, non-chemical process.
Working with Kimolec TH, a film designed specifically for the Kimosetter 340i, it produces high density, sharp edge defined images for applications where positive or negative films are used.

The imaging process is a thermal transfer system and is completely dry requiring no chemicals. 
The film is not light sensitive and so requires no darkroom conditions. 
The Kimosetter 340i has a compact design and operates in a studio environment.

Equivalent to 1200 dpi, the Kimosetter 340i gives exceptional image quality resulting in smooth crisp text, sharp line work, high density solids and clean halftones.

Compared with laser printers or inkjet printers, the Kimosetter 340i produces images with much sharper edge definition.

Print speed is only 4 minutes for A3+ size (excluding spooling time). If you are currently outsourcing films, you will save cost as well as time.

The Kimosetter 340i does not utilize any fusing process or chemical development, which often causes shrinkage or waving of the film. The Polyester base is 0.075mm (.003") thick, providing excellent dimensional stability, ensuring 
accurate image size and good registration for multi-color work.
